Velvia colour reversal film is known for its "superb grain quality, vibrancy and resolving power".

ÉPIPHANIQUE-ONDÉE is a short film made of stills shot on Velvia.

It portrays the process of identity and the passage of time I experienced on my first ever trip to Vietnam in 2011.

As the train travels up the dragon-shaped country, it leaves a trail that demarcates the vertical fauna from the endless expanse of water.
The heartbeats of the machinery melt into mine and the visions that unfold before my eyes rehabilitate whatI had always perceived as vertical, authoritarian and rigid.

Vietnam is a place that lies between memory, lack of it, imagination and geographical reality.
